Employees of PGI organized a fascinating and interesting lesson for students of the first gymnasium on the theme “Space weather”

Employees of the Polar geophysical Institute organized and conducted a fascinating and interesting lesson for students of the 3rd grade of the first gymnasium on the theme “Space weather”.

The lesson was conducted by the head of the laboratory of geophysical observations, candidate of physical and mathematical Sciences Yaroslav Sakharov-a great scientist and a skilled master of complex to turn into a simple, understandable and exciting for children. The boys were traveling the milky way – not the candy bar, but the real milky way. We learned how the Sun lives its life in rhythm with all the planets and affects the weather, and the magnetic field saves the Earth from external influences. The Aurora is not only on Earth, but also on Saturn, Jupiter. And then there’s the fake glow. Bright graphics and photos were accompanied by a very interesting story.
