Ground receiving station of GPS/GLONASS monitoring of the ionosphere

Function: registration of regular (diurnal, seasonal, latitudinal, longitudinal) ionospheric variations, as well as ionospheric perturbations of natural and artificial origins.

Simultaneous highly precise measurements of both group and phase lags at two coherent frequencies on the line-of-site between the ground receiver and satellite (GPS/GLONASS) transmitter, reduced to the total electron content, enable to detect the ionospheric variations.
