Employees of the PGI launched an electrostatic fluxmeter

Employees of the cosmic ray sector of the Polar Geophysical Institute at the Pyramid cosmic ray station in Apatity launched an electrostatic fluxmeter designed to measure the vertical component of the atmospheric electric field.

The work was carried out within the framework of the project of the Russian Science Foundation 18-77-10018 “Flows of high-energy charged particles in near-Earth space, and their impact on the Arctic atmosphere”.
