PGI employees took part in the conference “Plasma Physics in the Solar System”

From February 6 to 10, 2023, the Eighteenth conference “Plasma Physics in the Solar System” was held at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow). The topics of the conference are related to theoretical and experimental studies of processes in space plasma – on the Sun, in the solar wind, in the ionosphere and magnetosphere of the Earth and other planets of the solar system, including problems of space weather forecasting, wave processes in space plasma, current layers, numerical and laboratory modeling (https://plasma2023.cosmos.ru/).

This year, more than 380 people have registered for the conference, many of them young people. The conference program includes more than 350 oral and poster presentations, grouped into 8 sections. During part of the reports, an online broadcast was conducted, which can be viewed in entries on the ICI RAS channel.

Traditionally, the PGI was represented by a large group of our employees – 25 reports were submitted from the institute.
