On October 26-27, the IV International Scientific and Practical conference “Security of the Arctic Frontiers: ecology, history, images of the future” was held in the PGI (Murmansk). The main operator of the conference is the Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society. The conference was co-organized by PGI, MMBI, the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region. Within the framework of the program, participants discussed issues of ecology, economy, biological diversity of the Arctic, as well as problems of preserving historical memory. The conference was held offline and online, which allowed attracting speakers from Belarus, India, China, Germany and the USA.
