PGI staff participated in the XVI school-conference “Problems of Geocosmos — 2026″
On April 6-10, 2026, the staff of the PGI took part in the XVI school conference “Problems of Geocosmos — 2026″.
The conference with international participation “Problems of Geocosmos” has been held regularly, once every 2 years, on the basis of the Department of Earth Physics of St. Petersburg State University since 1996. Traditionally, it is devoted to topical issues of studying the physics of the Earth and solar-terrestrial relations. The main purpose of the conference is to present the results of modern geophysical research conducted by scientists from St. Petersburg University and Russia, and to exchange scientific information with leading scientists from foreign countries. In addition, the format of the school-conference will allow young scientists, graduate students and students to familiarize themselves with the latest achievements in the field of physics of the Earth and near space.
