MSTU and PGI signed a cooperation agreement
On September 24, 2020, the leadership of the Murmansk State Technical University and the Polar Geophysical Institute signed a Cooperation Agreement.
As the Acting Rector of MSTU Svetlana Rostislavovna Derkach noted, close ties have long been established between the two educational institutions. The staff of the institute teach at the department of radio-electronic systems and transport radio equipment, and graduates of the university successfully work at the research institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Murmansk region. The signed Agreement opens up even more opportunities for both parties. So, after graduating from Moscow State Technical University, bachelors and masters will be given the opportunity to undergo postgraduate programs of PGI and carry out scientific activities in advanced studies of terrestrial magnetism, the upper polar atmosphere, cosmic rays, auroras and radio wave propagation.
