The XI International Forum “The Arctic: the present and the future”

The XI International Forum “The Arctic: the present and the future” started its activities on December 2, 2021. It united representatives of authorities, science and business who discussed the issues of development and exploration of the Arctic region.

The panel discussion “The fundamental and applied science for the needs of the Arctic” caused the most interest and attention as it focused on analysis of the main trends, challenges and perspectives of the scientific research in the Arctic area. The agenda of the session included such issues as development of the material basis for the research in the Arctic, support of the Arctic-related research and international cooperation in the Arctic.
